Make a Submission

Original articles and creative submissions are welcome. Please send completed works or pitches to submit@merionwest.com with the subject line “Submission” to be considered for publication.

Please make clear if a submission is simultaneously being offered to other publications, and please include hyperlinks in the text to specific claims, facts, and figures.

Interview requests can also be sent to the above email address.

If submitting poetry or fiction, please do so through Duosuma by Duotrope. Before submitting, please review the poetry submission guidelines.

Disclosure of First Appearance:

While we allow authors to repost articles first published at Merion West in other websites or on personal blogs, the reprint must state prominently at the top that the article first appeared at Merion West, along with the date of original publication.

Use of Artificial Intelligence:

As we increasingly recognize the prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI) in media, we affirm that Merion West only publishes pieces entirely crafted by human beings. While it may be permissible to consult AI for research or for identifying typographical errors, by submitting to Merion West, the submitter guarantees that every single word of his submission was written by himself.
