Epicycle(s)

“Wilderness of whys./Labyrinth of I’s./Foreground, background./Busy, busy eyes.”

Too many years.

Too many layers.

Too many windows.

Too many mirrors.

Futuristic past.

Prehistoric future.

The latter comes before.

The former comes after.

Wilderness of whys.

Labyrinth of I’s.

Foreground, background.

Busy, busy eyes.

Discover to remember.

Devastate to flower.

Break to repair.

Put together to shatter.
